Being an ‘ethical’ designer encompasses an endless range of environmental, social and welfare concerns in the UK and abroad which are sometimes so complex that they are either misunderstood or ignored.

Fashion Revolution, headed by Orsola De Castro, has raised social awareness and responsibility .. “someone somewhere always pays the price for cheap clothing”.

The British Fashion Industry benefits from overseas trade and offshore manufacture ….  so lets make more of it ‘ethical’ …  and pay homage to the people who manufacture our fashion pieces and give them respect for what they do.
